  • What is God of War Ragnarok Game:

God of War Ragnarok is a surprise in PC gaming. This is an awesome third-person action game where you control Kratos and his son, Atreus. As they explore a perilous world of Norse Mythology. Set in a semi-ish open world you travel to different locations, battle enemies, engage in some light side quests, and experience a pretty linear story. Now if you played "God of War" in 2018 then you'll know what to expect going in. Many Iconic elements of the previous game return here. Like the single camera take, there are no camera cuts or loading screens. Once the game starts there are no cutaways or fades or transitions.

  • The Story :

Now let's talk about the story 'God Of War Ragnarok' takes place several years after the ending of the first game. Atreus is now a bit of a teenager and the legendary Fimbulwinter is in full effect, so is the first sign of the coming apocalypse.

  • What is Ragnarok:

According to the Norse, Mythology Ragnarok means that the prophecy that was revealed at the end of the previous game is coming true. Like the first game, the bond between father and son is tested as Atreus wants to learn more about his identity.  In the previous game, it was revealed that he is actually Loki, the Norse god of mischief. And he trying to stop the apocalypse from happening.

The amount of sight content in Svartalfheim alone at one point you get to choose if you want to continue with the main story or go to explore the main islands. In the Dwarven realm with a huge reward waiting for you if you go the letter, it's wild that in the first few hours. You can already start to experiment with a ton of different combat tactics not only because Kratos is of course way more capable than at the start of the game. Traversal option compared to 2018 but the best part is that it also feels like you have barely scratched.

  • GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK REVIEW:

Sonos Santa Monica immediately flexes their muscles in the first hour of God of the War Ragnarok reminding you why they are some of the best in the business there are emotional moments as we find out what Atreyas and Kratos have been up to in these last their year's amazing comment encounters that you would normally only experience at the end of any other game and it was overwhelmed by the number of skills and unlocks that Kratos has available and overwhelmed in a good way.

New Skills:

There are 28 Leviathan axe skills 26 blade skills and 5 skills for Atreus which you can unlock via has own separate XP pool so you will have to choose between abilities for Kratos. Atreus can upgrade them more easily alongside each other Kratos immediately has some scales from the previous unlock like frost rush where you can attack immediately out of his brains.

New Combat style :

To jump and go in Ragnarok as you might know that he can also do this from a higher point to then jump down on enemies or after jumping you can immediately do it again to make the combat more fluid. There is even death from the above style move for the shield as well. When you touch more on the shield in a moment because they've seen some huge improvement and you can already try that out early on in the game with the blades you can immediately do the hyper-in pull to draw enemies towards you which really never gets old. There is also the Spring attack unlocked from the start. You can swipe the blades upwards so the enemies launch in the air is available as well.

You can also remember an old move from 2018 that could also follow up with a fiery bill it's still in Ragnarok. You can also use it to light torches to complete puzzles. Overall it's really cool how there are more ways to use the axe and blades to solve puzzles and that you sometimes have to combine both of them to find a solution.

Also, there are new blades traversal through which really lets you jump way longer distances if there's a grapple point or makes climbing higher rocks way faster than using the chains which are still there but way less prominent.
